Dental Emergency

What to do in the Event of A Dental Emergency

Cut Lip or Trauma to the Face

You may first need stitches if injured in the oral-facial area.  See a doctor or visit emergency medical services for treatment.  Then a dentist should examine your teeth and mouth to ensure your teeth will be fine.

In most cases, a cold wet, clean wash cloth should be applied to the area with just enough pressure to stop any bleeding.  If the cut is deep, apply the compress and seek medical treatment at the nearest hospital.
