PARTIAL

When there is a multiple number of teeth missing, artificial replacement may be possible with the construction of a partial denture. This is a removable appliance. It can be attached to the teeth with clasps, or attached to the teeth with crowns involving precision attachments referred to as hidden clasps. A partial denture is constructed of a metal framework, with plastic teeth and gum areas.
