VENEERS

Veneers are great for fixing front teeth allowing the patient to have whitened teeth, closed spaces and ultimately a great, impressionable smile. Veneers allow for virtually instant orthodontics to straighten crooked teeth. Veneers are made of porcelain. They are very thin and are bonded on the front of the patient's anterior teeth. The veneers are about 0.3mm to 0.5mm in thickness, but once bonded to teeth become very strong. They provide a "life like" appearance. Veneers are highly rated for their several advantages including no dark line that sometimes appears with older front caps. Veneers are more translucent in appearance and do not require the massive grinding of tooth structure that caps rely on.
